THE GREEN CITADEL® OF MAGDEBURG

This tour gives an illustrative impression of the development of Hundertwasser’s architectural project, from his first ideas up to the constructed building. By walking around the building and some selected interior parts you will get in touch with the artists concerns, exemplarily for all of Hundertwasser’s buildings. If you are planning a visit for a group, it is possible to discuss the focal points of the tour when you call us to book the tour.

Public guided tours (available in German only)*
  Date: Tours run daily
Mon–Fri at 11:00, 15:00 and 17:00
Sat–Sun: every hour on the hour from 10:00 to 17:00
  Duration: 1 hour
  Admission: Adult: € 6.00 (incl. tax); Concession € 5.00;
Child € 2.50; Child (up to 6) free
  Meeting point: Tourist information inside THE GREEN CITADEL® OF MAGDEBURG

Guided Group Tours
  Date: Tours run anytime upon request (by prior appointment of at least two weeks).
  Duration: 1 hour
  Admission: groups up to 15 pay € 90.00 (incl. tax), € 5.00 for each additional person
   

Guided school tours
  Date: Tours run anytime upon request (by prior appointment of at least two weeks).
  Duration: 45 minutes
  Admission: groups up to 15 pupils and 1 teacher pay € 40.00 (incl. tax),
€ 2.50 per additional pupil,
€ 5.00 per additional accompanying person

Special Guided Tours
  Tour THE GREEN CITADEL® OF MAGDEBURG and ascent of the tower
  Date: Tours run anytime upon request (by prior appointment of at least two weeks).
  Duration: 1.5 hours
  Admission: groups of 10 pay € 100 (incl. tax), € 10.00 each additional person
 
We provide English, Russian or Spanish speaking guides at a supplement of € 10 per group.
Supplement for tours after 18:00: € 20 per group
